Rules of Memory

Setup

Memory is a solitaire card game whose objective is to match pairs of cards in as few tries as possible. Two cards form a matching pair if they have the same rank or if they are both jokers.

At the beginning of the game, 54 cards are spread out face-down on the board. Different cards are used depending on the level chosen:

Game Play

On each turn, you select two cards to turn up. If both cards have the same rank or if both are jokers, then the cards are removed from the board. Otherwise, the cards are turned back down again. You win when all cards are removed from the board.

Scoring

You start with an initial score of 100 points. You lose one point each time you make a wrong guess, and the final score is the number of points you have left when all cards are removed.
